Use Case - Mission Support Equipment(Airbus Defence and Space – G)
Use Case Application: |
The use case deals with the landing aid function which supports helicopter pilots during the landing approach in degraded visual environments. It allows to mark a landing point on ground using a head-tracked helmet mounted display. During the final landing approach it enhances the spatial awareness of flying crews by displaying 3D conformal visual cues on a helmet-mounted display. |
Main Methods and Tools: |
- Advanced traceability: Rational SSE, RELM - Model-based systems engineering: DOORS NG, Rhapsody, Design Manager - Requirements quality analysis: Requirements Quality Suite - Safety analysis: Fault Tree+ - Variability management: pure::variants - Process automation: Method Composer, Team Concert |
Expected results: |
Semantic links are created across tool boundaries supporting uniform impact and coverage analysis, reporting and metrics. Requirements are checked against quality characteristics and improvement is guided. System design and functional safety are seamlessly integrated using shared artefacts. Variability models manage variation points and resolve the variabilities of different product variants. Workflow support is provided and ensures process compliance. |
