Use Case - Mission Support Equipment (Airbus Defence and Space – G)

Use Case Application:
The use case deals with the landing aid  function which supports helicopter pilots during the landing approach in degraded visual environments. It allows to mark a landing point on ground using a head-tracked helmet mounted display. During the final landing approach it enhances the spatial awareness of flying crews by displaying 3D conformal visual cues on a helmet-mounted display.

Expected results:

Variability models manage variation points and resolve the variabilities of different product variants. Workflow support is provided and ensures process compliance.
